Designed to make life easier for brokerage companiesVehicle hire brokerage (vehicle rental brokerage) companies have a different set of requirements to a standard vehicle hire company. They source their vehicles from various suppliers to fit a requirement for a specific reservation. The client usually remains a client of the brokerage and any changes to a reservation are carried out through the client contacting the brokerage and the brokerage subsequently instructing the supplier. The invoicing process also differs in that the supplier will invoice the brokerage and the brokerage will invoice the client.There are relatively few vehicle hire brokers in the industry. This factor, together with the fact that the processes involved in operating a brokerage are quite different, means that there are not many software packages available to suit this need.
